Britain Cleaning Solutions is part of Britain Group Ltd. The business started in March 2020, when Steeve Mbappe set out to solve a problem he kept seeing: clients unhappy with how clean, cared for, or genuinely comfortable their spaces were, at work and at home. Not clean by a checklist, but the kind of clean that actually supported people's wellbeing in the space they used every day.

Our story

Reliability, earned one contract at a time.

The first two contracts set the pattern that's shaped everything since. One was a subcontract, delivering deep cleaning of university accommodation for a large group, work that meant learning early just how demanding and unforgiving that sector's deadlines could be. The other was a direct relationship with EcoCare Student Accommodation in Loughborough, the first client to put their trust in Britain Cleaning Solutions rather than a bigger, more established name. Two clients, two very different relationships, one shared lesson: reliability is earned one contract at a time, and it has to be re-earned on every single job. That's still how we operate today, whether we're one of several contractors on a site or the only name a client has ever needed to call.

Health and safety isn't a section of the website we had to write. It's the reason a cleaner knows how to handle a chemical safely, why a site gets risk-assessed before anyone starts, and why nobody's ever left figuring it out as they go.

Small, consistent changes: less plastic, better-dosed chemicals, and routes planned to cut unnecessary mileage between sites. Not a headline initiative, just a standing decision to do less damage on the way to a clean building.
