Britain Cleaning Solutions is not required to publish a statutory Modern Slavery Statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, since turnover currently sits well below the £36 million threshold that triggers that legal duty. We publish this statement voluntarily, because clients and procurement teams increasingly expect it regardless of company size, and because it reflects how we already operate day to day.
Every member of staff has their right to work in the UK verified before their first day, alongside their DBS check. No recruitment fees are ever charged to staff or passed on through a third party. Anyone with a concern about how a colleague, subcontractor, or supplier is being treated has a clear, confidential route to raise it, and every report is followed up. As our supplier base grows, the same expectations will apply to anyone we bring in to support a contract.
